Once upon a time, I was in the midst of severe anxiety and despair. (Don't all great stories begin there?)

A therapist looked in my eyes and said: “Mary, you need to be an active participant in your own healing.”

I looked at her and thought, “Woman, do you have any idea who you’re talking to?”

I’ve made an entire CAREER out of my healing for God’s sake!

But slowly, I started to get what she meant.

I had been waiting for a therapist, or a retreat, or a book to remove the voices with just the right trick.

But I've come to discover that I am the only one who can choose what and who I listen to, and how I respond to my own thoughts.

Sometimes the harsh voices inside need deep, soothing love.

Sometimes they need hella fierce boundaries.

This is the Art of Self Coaching.

Today on the podcast, I'm sharing three gems from my personal collection of self-coaching practices to liberate your mind, elevate your body, and experience your soul through the senses.

With Love,
Mary
