One day, a journalist arrived at a Paris hotel to interview style icon Diana Vreeland.
He asked her, “Diana, to what do you attribute your great success?”
She replied, “Simplicity, darling, simplicity.”
When you look at this photo, is simplicity the first thing that comes to mind?
Probably not.
And yet, to be that daring, one must be quite distilled.
What I see in this photo is a woman with courage, self-knowledge, a high tolerance for risk, and a keen ability to discern.
No room for people pleasing.
No room for self-questioning.
No room for holding back.
Simple.
