Oh, my friends.

Rare is the person you can hold hands with while walking down the street, cry until you snot on their shoulder, laugh until your throat is hoarse, and make fart sounds that sound like an angry duck in front of.

Rare is the person who will drive 4 hours out of their way just to drive you the 20 minutes it takes to get to the airport, so that you have a familiar face to say goodbye to as you leave for the biggest trip of your life.

Rare is the person who you can tell all your mess (and I mean MESS) to, and they will say back:

“Nothing’s wrong my friend. I see you. Take pleasure from this. I am. Love is never leaving you. Not ever.”

These are just a few gems from a day in the life of my friendship with today’s guest, Allie Monday.

Allie is a photographer, an artist, a lover, and a healer.

(Actually she told me today on the way to the airport that she’s dissolving all of her identities so maybe she’s none of those things after all - stay tuned.)

This Come To Your Senses Conversation is the first in a group of guest episodes I am so excited to share with you.

I’ve shied away from doing guest interviews because I mostly find them to be a sharing a of someone’s ideas, without sharing the actual person themselves.

This is not that.

This is a conversation between two friends on how to love each other well, how conflict can be an inroad to blissful intimacy, how anxiety can be eased through a certain kind of self-pleasure, and how to give up trying to be perfect, in order to get free.

May this episode inspire intimacy, realness, wheezing laughter, and pleasure in all your relationships.

We love you. Listen and enjoy.

Love and farts,

Mary
